Haitians are migrating or trying to migrate to developed countries. Dr. Juan Manuel Rosario recommends to stimulate the investment in Haiti in order to fight against poverty and prevent mass migration to DR. He thinks that the mini Marshall plan could facilitate the investment, production and recovery if the country.
Haitians and Dominicans have never gotten along and now with so many of the wanting to migrate it could cause a lot of problems. I feel like it is a good thing if they get out of Haiti for their sake but for other countries sake, not so much. If Dominicans really want to build a wall it could either go good and solve the migration problem or just put the country in even more debt.
This article ties to the political life of Haiti because it has to do with population, migration, and laws. If all Haitians move out of Haiti the country could experience economic downfall. Haiti is already a bad country to live in, I don't know how much worse it can get but it would probably be a good idea if people moved out.
